Christmas and New Year have come and gone and I trust that the diets are going well! We must now look forward to the Spring and a new season.
Jeanie and I are trying to re-arrange the Winter Mixed Celebration for later this month or early next month. Although the indoor event was a huge success we did not play any golf.
The Seniors Open Matchplay entry sheet (together with entry form and envelope) has been posted earlier than stated in the diary in the hope of getting the competition underway before the events programme gets too congested.
The Pre-Season Stableford sheet is now on the board. It would be appreciated if as many over 55s as possible could attend as we have a full and interesting seasons fixtures ahead. (first match 6th March). Your input to the meeting will be appreciated.

Here we are, another year end and Winter is upon us. We can look back at a successful season of fixtures,
for which we must thank Ron Cupit. Also thank you to all who contributed to Ron's gift, at the end of his tenure as Seniors’ Organiser.
Congratulations go to Derek Abby for winning the Seniors’ Stableford Cup for the second year running and to
Ron Bedwell for winning the end of season stableford from a field of 40.
I am pleased to say the roll-ups will continue throughout the winter months (weather permitting)
ALL Senior Members are welcome to join us every Wednesday and Friday morning at approx. 8:00 a.m.
Whilst on the subject of "roll ups" we should send a huge thank you to Alan Willats,
who organises both the weekly "roll ups" and the Seniors Stablefords throughout the year.
